U.S. Every year, on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, people take the time to kick off the holiday season by giving back to their community. Whether it is donating money to a charitable cause or volunteering, Giving Tuesday is a day set to benefit the community. With so many non-profits serving Bladen County, we would like to give our non-profit members the chance to tell you about their needs. On Tuesday, November 15, please join us for the November Chamber Member Breakfast Meeting and hear about some of our local non-profit organizations. We hope this will enlightened everyone and help you make sound choice on where to donate on the actual Day of Giving. Non-profits will have 5 minutes to describe their services and greatest needs. After the meeting, they will be able to set up an information booth in the Farmers Market for the luncheon crowd. If you represent a non-profit and would like to participate, please call Terri at 910-862-4368. Breakfast will be provided by Burney's at a cost of $10. Please register so that we have an accurate count on meals.
