The Tourism Promotion Committee of the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled another exciting Trail Festival Weekend in Mother Nature’s Playground, starting Friday, February 14 through Sunday, February 16, 2025. This will be the third year for the wintertime weekend festival celebrating all things outdoor in Bladen County. The committee is actively planning guided hikes, bike rides, and paddle events at several of the area parks.

Tourist spend $51.57 million during 2022 in Mother Nature's Playground

Elizabethtown, N.C. — Domestic and international visitors to and within Bladen County spent 51.57 million in 2022. The data comes from an annual study commissioned by Visit North Carolina, a unit of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina. A new mobile unit that will provide behavioral health and primary care service to rural parts of Bladen County was introduced at the Cape Fear Farmers Market on Tuesday, April 12 with a ribbon cutting attended by approximately 50 people.
