Duke Energy is hosting an event for both first responders and local key leaders in Bladen County.

Local elected officials, career city/county employees, and other stakeholders are invited to attend a Duke Energy update on the work we are doing in Bladen County and state to support a cleaner energy future.

After the presentation, we will watch a power line safety demonstration on-site. We are encouraging all fire departments, police, sheriffs and emergency management officials to attend the power line safety demonstration.

Our line workers will demonstrate power line safety to help invited first responders prepare for accidents, storms and other events that knock down power lines and damage equipment.
