The Elizabethtown – White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce invites businesses and residents celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for Sweeter than Hunny, a new store in Downtown Elizabethtown on Friday, April 8 at 12noon. Sweeter than Hunny, owned by Toni Cross, opened in time for this past Christmas Season. It is a unique gift store and boutique with a variety of items that inspire the interest of everyone. Toni, a life-long citizen of Elizabethtown, is married to Powell Cross and has 4 children and 3 grandchildren. She explained that many years ago, she had a nice little gift shop, candy store and gift basket business called Sweet Thoughts. “When Powell and I started raising a family, I stepped to the side to raise my family,” she said. “Now with my new nickname (Hunny) from my Grandchildren, I am excited to be back to fulfill my dreams of owning my own business of putting smiles on peoples’ faces.”
