Get Ready for Sunset Jams - First one is June 16

The Sunset Jams Concert Series is back, starting Friday, June 16 at the Cape Fear Farmers Market., Elizabethtown. Autumn Tyde will perform beach music favorites, classic rock and their own charting originals from 6-9pm. 
Other dates in the series:

July 21 - Chairmen of the Board at Goldston's Beach from 7-10pm
August 11 - Kendrix Singletary at the Cape Fear farmers Market from 6-9pm.

White Lake Water Festival Brought the Crowd

What a great Water Festival this year!
A big thank you to WECT for all the coverage. Especially the Highway 6 crew who experienced  tough weather on Friday. They produced some great stories on the impact of the Festival and the history - we will be adding their news segments to the website shortly. 

Based on surveys taken during the Festival, we definitely saw attendees from our targeted areas and now have some good ideas on where to advertise next year. The majority of festival attendees were either residents or owned a second home but 31% were on vacation, 11% were day trippers and 38% visited for the first time.
Congratulations to Kiara Polovitch, a 10th grader at West Bladen High School, on winning the Water Festival logo contest. Her design will be used for the 2024 White Lake Water Festival.
